There are plenty of exquisite mountain areas in Albania. The mountains in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can also find quite a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are exciting to see but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.

Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture leading to plenty of great cafes to hang out in. Albania cities including Shkodra are worth visiting to see the unusual old city area and also to visit a few museums.
